Charakterliche Eignung<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Anschaffung eines Weimaraners sollte nicht mit dem Kauf anderer Hunderassen gleichgesetzt werden. Das ansprechende \u00e4u\u00dfere Erscheinungsbild t\u00e4uscht bei sehr vielen Interessenten \u00fcber den mitunter schwierigen Charakter hinweg, und f\u00fchrt wirklich sehr (sehr!) oft zu Fehlentscheidungen auf Kosten der Tiere. Folgende Merkmale sollte man vor dem Kauf eines solchen Hundes verinnerlicht haben:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reinrassiger Jagdhund<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>soziales Familienmitglied<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00fcberaus aktiv<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sehr intelligent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>durch und durch dickk\u00f6pfig<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese Eigenschaften kann man nicht \u00e4ndern, und man darf auch nicht naiv genug sein, zu glauben, man k\u00f6nne dies! Stattdessen MUSS man sich selbst, sowie auch sein Umfeld pr\u00fcfen, ob man diesen Anspr\u00fcchen \u00fcberhaupt gerecht werden, und einen Weimaraner entsprechend auslasten kann. Diese Voraussetzungen bedingen auch einen entsprechenden Charakter &#8211; Konsequenz ist unabdingbar! Man wird dem Tier gegen\u00fcber, regelm\u00e4\u00dfig immer wieder, konsequente Disziplin entgegenbringen m\u00fcssen. Kann man hier keine F\u00fchrungskompetenz durchsetzen, wird der Hund diese Position \u00fcbernehmen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zwei Beispiele f\u00fcr unzureichende Auslastung: 1. Die &#8222;Metamorphose&#8220; eines Sofas (20er Jahre Chaiselongue) w\u00e4hrend zu langer Abwesenheit (Berufsalltag) 2. Das &#8222;Auspacken&#8220; eines neuen gerade gekauften Durchlauferhitzers durch kurzes Alleinlassen (Duschen) und sporadischer Langeweile des Tieres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns R\u00fcde oder H\u00fcndin<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neben dem unterschiedlichen Erscheinungsbild, zeigen R\u00fcde und H\u00fcndin auch verschiedene Verhaltensweisen. ER ben\u00f6tigt die erzieherische Konsequenz aufgrund seines nicht seltenen Macho-Gehabes, SIE zickt gern mal rum, und verlangt nicht wesentlich weniger konsequente F\u00fchrung. Das ist bei den Tieren wie bei uns Menschen. Aufgrund K\u00f6rpermasse und Muskelstruktur jedoch, ist die H\u00fcndin im Vergleich etwas leichter zu f\u00fchren. Beide reagieren auf gleichgeschlechtliche Artgenossen (wie auch andere Rassen) nicht selten mit streitigen Auseinandersetzungen. W\u00e4hrend R\u00fcden das ganze Jahr \u00fcber sexuell aktiv sind (und immer einen Weg suchen, eine in der N\u00e4he befindliche, l\u00e4ufige H\u00fcndin zu erreichen), tritt die L\u00e4ufigkeit bei der H\u00fcndin (f\u00fcr ca. 3 Wochen) in der Regel zweimal j\u00e4hrlich auf. Blau oder Grau<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beide Fellfarben besitzen auch die typischen charakteristischen Merkmale eines Weimaraners, dennoch gibt es Unterschiede. Meiner Meinung nach, eignen sich blaue Weimaraner eher als reine Familienhunde, w\u00e4hrend graue den offensichtlich besseren Jagdhund abgeben; Ausnahmen best\u00e4tigen die Regel. Dies soll jedoch nicht hei\u00dfen, dass auch eine grauer ein wunderbarer Familienhund, und ein blauer ein passionierter J\u00e4ger sein kann. Ein oder zwei Hunde<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weimaraner sind \u00fcberdurchschnittlich soziale Hunde, und am gerechtesten werden ihnen der K\u00e4ufer als &#8222;Paar&#8220;. Diese Herausforderung jedoch, bedeutet nicht nur doppelt so viel Arbeit, auch die Nerven k\u00f6nnen hin und wieder \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfig stark strapaziert werden. Einen Weimaraner unter Kontrolle zu behalten, ist nicht immer leicht, er ver\u00e4ndert das Leben eines jeden Halters. Zwei sich gegenseitig, unter Umst\u00e4nden aufstachelnde Artgenossen, zu b\u00e4ndigen, verlangt enorm viel Konsequenz und Ruhe. Ohne bereits ausreichend rassespezifische Erfahrung mit einem Weimaraner gesammelt zu haben, rate ich vom Kauf zweier eher ab. Ausschlie\u00dflich erfahrene Hundehalter sollten diese hohe Verantwortung \u00fcbernehmen&#8230;und werden daf\u00fcr aber auch mit ganz besonderen Momenten belohnt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div Kosten<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allein mit der Anschaffung eines Welpen (ca. 750 &#8211; 2.750,-\u20ac) ist es nat\u00fcrlich nicht getan, hinzu kommen zahlreiche Spiel- und\/oder Arbeitsuntensilien in vielfachen Wert des Tieres selbst. Ein seri\u00f6ser Verk\u00e4ufer \u00fcbernimmt die ersten tier\u00e4rztlichen Kosten (Entwurmungen, Impfung, Chippen, EU-Heimtierausweis), darauf folgen dann jedoch weitere. Zur Grundausstattung geh\u00f6ren Halsb\u00e4nder, Leinen, Geschirre, N\u00e4pfe, Dummys, Hundebett(n), Transporteinrichtungen. In den ersten 2 Jahren kauft man einiges doppelt, weil der Hund recht schnell herausw\u00e4chst. Sp\u00e4ter kauft man u.U. etwas weniger, zumindest es nicht (wie bei uns) zahlreiche Anwendungsm\u00f6glichkeiten gibt (z.B. Spezialgeschirre, Signal- und Rettungswesten, Kleidung, etc.). Zu alle dem kommen nicht selten auch direkte Ausbildungskosten wie Hundeschule und entsprechende Literatur (habe ich nie beansprucht). Krankheiten und Verletzungen erh\u00f6hen die j\u00e4hrlichen Ausgaben, Steuern und Haftpflichtversicherung sind Pflicht f\u00fcr alle Hundehalter. Mit einer Aufstellung aller voraussichtlichen Kosten vor dem Kauf erspart man sich sp\u00e4tere unangenehme \u00dcberraschungen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ein <strong>Beispiel f\u00fcr eine relativ aufw\u00e4ndige Hundeausstattung<\/strong>, war der Bau einer ganz speziellen Hundeh\u00fctte (ca. 350kg Eigengewicht). Alle vier W\u00e4nde, Dach und Boden sind 16cm im Querschnitt (plus Verkleidung mit 2cm Nut&amp;Feder), dazwischen 8cm starke D\u00e4mmplatten und diverse D\u00e4mmwollen. Das Fenster ist in zwei Stufen anklappbar, die T\u00fcr (nicht abgebildet) selbstschlie\u00dfend. Innen gepolstert mit Stroh, Heu, Decken und Fellen, ein wetterfestes Haus, auch f\u00fcr frostige Temperaturen. Allerdings nicht, um dort drin zu \u00fcbernachten (das geschieht bei mir im Bett), sondern f\u00fcr die Momente, wenn ich drau\u00dfen t\u00e4tig bin, und der Weimaraner so nah wie m\u00f6glich bei mir sein, und mich im Auge behalten m\u00f6chte (z.B. Arbeiten am Kfz oder Gr\u00fcnpflege, auch bei Schlechtwetter).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849
